Abstract

The KK/Gunung Pasang Estate is the second largest estate owned by the Local Plantation Company of Jember Regency. The labour harvest of coffee productivity level is not optimal yet and the percentage of green-coffee seed is highly influential towards the realization achievement of coffee production in the  KK/Gunung Pasang Estate. For five years, the average of production realization in the KK/Gunung Pasang Estate is not optimal yet, that is only 75% target. The increasing achievement of production target can be done by optimizing the  labour harvest of coffee productivity. This research is aimed to analyze how far motivation, and ability correlate towards the labour harvest of coffee productivity by using Spearman Rank Correlation. The tools of research used correlational description. The sample method used propositional random sampling with 73 respondents. The result shown that motivation has positive correlation with the labour harvest of coffee productivity (Y). The variables of motivation include work performance (X1), and life-expectancy insurance (X3) has positive and significant correlation with the work productivity of coffee reapers. The variable responsibility (X2), and family members (X4) does not have a significant correlation with the  labour harvest of coffee productivity. Moreover, the test of age variable (X5) has positive correlation with the the  labour harvest of coffee productivity. Meanwhile, the experience variable (X6) does not have significant correlation. Abstract

Menghadapi era globalisasi berbagai bisnis/profesi masyarakat Indonesia terancam oleh masuknya pendatang luar negeri yang memiliki sumberdaya yang lebih mampu dan professional. Hasil program dalam peningkatan kualitas sumberdaya manusia masih belum optimal tanpa adanya kegiatan sinergi diantara sumberdaya manusia dalam bisnis/profesi tertentu dalam isu-isu yang yang ada di dalamnya, karena isu tersebut tidak hanya rendahnya kinerja yang kompetitif pada sumberdaya internal tetapi juga bagaimana memperkuat posisi tawar, kemudian konsep koperasi antar manusia juga relevan dan bagaimanapun sangat penting untuk diperkenalkan pada masyarakat Indonesia. Koperasi pekerja sudah terkenal dan banyak dikembangkan di negara maju dan beberapa negara berkembang, akan tetapi masih belum diaplikasikan di Indonesia. Koperasi Pekerja masih rancu dengan istilah Koperasi Karyawan yang menyebabkan pentingnya koperasi pekerja dikaji lebih lanjut. Terdapat perbedaan antara kedua koperasi tersebut. Abstract

Food stability is not only in term of enough food availability but also capability to access  including to buy food and there is no dependency to another countries. The research focused in Jember Regency. The research was aimed to explain that the enough food availability is not meant guarantee  the food stability particularly for household rate. The analyze method that used  are descriptive, stability food analyse that conducted by Sumarwan and Sukandar (1998) and Angka Kecukupan Gizi/AKG (nutrient sufficiency number) for household that including energy sufficiency rate and protein sufficiency rate. The results show that (1) the available food in Jember Regency in 1991 – 2006 for six commodity including rice and corn are surplus, whereas soybean, peanut, cassava and sweet potato are minus, (2) Arjasa and Jelbuk subdistrict are linear decreasing in stability food, (3) AKG average number in Panduman village, Jelbuk Subdistrict as 59,51% that meant have not food stability category, (4) AKG average in Puger Wetan Village, Puger Subdistrict as 80,39% that meant have food stability category. Abstract

The objective of this research were to measure and to analyze the disparity of economic growth, to identify the pattern and structure of economic growth, and to know the dependency of  economic growth in Bangkalan Regency. This research used time series data during 2001-2006. The data was taken from Central Biroue of Statistic (BPS). Analysis method used to 1) indeks of regional inequality) Indeks Williamson dan Indeks Entropi Theil 2) Analysis of Regional typical 3) Analysis of scalogram dan 4) Analysis of Gravitasy. The result of research show that regional disparity of Bangkalan Regency are 0,00309 (small- williamson index)  and  0,0388 (entropy index). Analysis of regional typical show that 1) Bangkalan, Kamal, Arosbaya, and Labang are clasified going forward  and growth fastly ; 2) Socah, Modung, Burneh, Sepulu, and Tanjung Bumi are clasified developing fastly; 3) Kwanyar and Klampis are clasified going foward depressedly; and 4) Tragah, Blega, Konang, Galis, Tanah Merah, Geger, and Kokop are clasified. Analysis of scalogram show that 1) Tanjung Bumi, Burneh, and Socah had supproting fasility and economic growth above average growth rate; 2) Bangkalan, Kamal, Arosbaya, Labang, Modung, and Sepulu had supporting facility above average and average of economic growth rate; 3) Tragah, Blega, Kwanyar, Klampis, Konang, Galis, and Tanah Merah had less supporting facility and under average of economic growth rate; and 4) Kokop and Geger had less economic growt rate with averag Analysis of supporting facility.  Gravitasi show that Bangkalan became center pint for other sub district. Abstract

This research aimed to know : (1) the impact of increasing of productivity to food autonomy and the welfare of paddy farmer in 2020; and (2) the impact of increasing of harvested area to food autonomy and the welfare of paddy farmer in 2020. Research covered national scale, using secondary time series data between 1970 – 2004 with descriptive analytic method. Method of analysis  Two Stage Least Square (2-SLS)  by using Statistical Analysis System (SAS) ver 9.2 program as a software. The Result of this research  shows that  : (1) the impact of increasing of productivity and harvested area in 2020 will  increase  food autonomy but decreasing the welfare of paddy farmer; (2) just  increasing  productivity or harvested area in  2020 will not reach save food autonomy; (3) the combination of  reaching productivity until 5 ton/ha  and increasing harvested area until 10% in 2020 will  reach   food autonomy 90,233%  although  decreasing the welfare is the biggest. Abstract

The apple from Batu that be famous by apple batu is the special plantation from Batu City in Malang. Recently, the crop tend to decrease due to the increasing of land using movement to hausing business. The aim of the research were the to analyze the apple batu by competitive dan comparative advantages compared by import apple from overseas, to analyze the sensitivity of aplle batu caused by the changing of  the increasing of input price and decreasing of output price. Furthermore, the analyze method that used are competitive and comparative analyze that calculated by BSD, KBSD and PCR value.  The result shows that the apple batu has competitive and comparative advantages by BSD value less than the exchange rate and the KBSD and PCR value less than 1. Abstract

Generally, the purposes of this research is to develop multicriteria strategy for forest management in Argopuro mountain in Jember Regency in order to improve benefit for prosperity socialize and support regional development continuation. Degradation of forest significanly is influenced by the forest area managed by Perum Perhutani, the ratio of sum of the Perhutani worker amount and the amount of human resources each district. Education and the quantity of land managed by farmer influence the degree of participation in forest management. Game Theory Analysis show that forest management effort at optimum level at social and economic obtained through management by PHBM where farmer done farming in forest land, take care the wood and get sharing from Perum Perhutani. Multicriteria strategy of forest management at economic driver are PHBM with weighted at participation (social aspect), increase farmer income( economic aspect) and carbon emission to prevent of global warming (ecology aspect).
